This award winning service aims to contribute psychological support for health practitioners and their families adjusting to life in remote areas.
Strategies include:
- The 24-hr Bush Crisis Line confidential telephone support and debriefing service (toll free from anywhere in Australia)
- Stress Management courses and other workshops.
- Publications, including self care booklets.
- Informational Products to increase awareness of the BCL.
- Best Practice Guidelines to support practitioners following job related trauma.
All information is confidential and callers may remain anonomous. The service is staffed by registered Psychologists with remote work experience. You do not have to be in a crisis to call this service. We are available to provide strategies to help you in remote work and for discussion and support
